Apple has seeded next software update, iOS 5.0.1 beta to developers. This update would bring tremendous improvements in terms of battery life for iPhone 4S and other users. Previously, Apple engineers reportedly called to iPhone 4S users to diagnose the reason behind battery issues and now when they have found the reason, fix would be released in the form of software update in weeks.
In addition to battery fix, it addresses many other improvements such as multitasking gestures for the first generation iPad, a bug with documents in the cloud has been resolved, voice recognition for Australian users has been improved and some security bugs have been fixed. And one of the important feature which was pointed out by the developers is to keep a specific file on the device even when the storage capacity is low. Earlier, those files were deleted automatically.
Overall, iOS 5.0.1 is a must update for iPhone users who experienced any problems with battery life and iPad 1 users for the much awaited multitasking gestures. What do you think?
